Dear Teachers...

When I was in college for music, I remember looking for summer jobs between semesters. I heard other students talk about internships and other opportunities where they could use their skills in their field of study! While these opportunities do exist for music students, they were few and far between. Faced with this dilemma, I realized something very important. The easiest and fastest way to begin your career in music is not by trying to form a band, looking for a studio internship, or recording your first album. All of these options are tons of fun, but unfortunately not very lucrative. No, the easiest way to begin your career as a musician is to teach!

I am constantly inviting musicians I know to teach. We have so much to offer the world. We can infuse valuable skills for discipline, mindfulness, creativity, and self-expression. Many studies have shown the benefits of music lessons for kids and adults alike when it comes to focus, brain health, and determination. Plus it's a great way to start building contacts and revenue that you'll need for your other musical projects. Whether your looking to make it full-time in music or you're looking for a good side-hustle, start teaching today!
